Life hacks have become cheaper by the dozen as time has worn on. It used to be that a solid life hack, in the ancient days, would take on an almost 'mystical' quality. When life, technology and the skills we deem important remained largely the same, generation-to-generation, a clever "hack" that could make a seemingly mundane task substantially easier was akin to magic.

But then we invented the written word and then the printing press and it became easy to dispense knowledge en-masse.
